  1. Open the folder in OneDrive and click the share icon for the file.

  2. In the pop-out, click she settings cog to set the permissions you are about to share.

     

  3. Once you’ve clicked Apply enter the recipient’s email. In this case, it is a known testing account, so it may appear differently.

     

  4. Once sent, the recipient will receive the invitation, but will have to use Microsoft MFA to be able to access the document once they click Open

     

  5. The recipient should be advised that they need to download the authenticator app and follow the instructions. This is our security feature which creates a guest user in the University Microsoft systems, so access can be removed as quickly as it is granted.

Removing Access


Select Manage Access to immediately stop sharing the document.
